Cinnamon Queen Pullets Available Soon!

Friends, my next group of 4-1/2 month old Cinnamon Queen pullets will be available for pickups beginning later this month. As soon as I have details on the pickup date, I'll post them on my Facebook.com/BlueRibbonChickensMonroe page and begin taking orders.

These sweet hens, when fed a quality 20% protein layer feed, will be 4-6 weeks away from giving you their first eggs. Once they mature, they'll give you a big brown egg everyday. Rarely do they miss a day.

They're also the sweetest birds ever! Hands down! Don't take my word. Read what my friends have said about them in all the posts on my Facebook.com/BlueRibbonChickensMonroe page. There is no sweeter breed, nor a better brown egg layer.

These young hens will be $20 apiece, cash at pickup. If you're interested in these sweet, young hens, please keep an eye on my Facebook.com/BlueRibbonChickensMonroe page for all the details as soon as they're available.

Thank you!

Rooster Dropoff Will Be Friday, October 4!

My next ROOSTER DROPOFF DAY will be Friday, October 4.

As always, I'll gladly rehome any healthy feathered friends you may have. The most important word there being 'healthy.' Please don't bring me any sick birds. They will be turned away. The minimum age is 4 months.

There will be a $3 cash donation per bird required to help offset my feed costs.

All dropoffs must be scheduled the day prior, on Thursday, October 3. All dropoffs will be scheduled via PM here to my Facebook.com/BlueRibbonChickensMonroe page. It will be a swift and easy process if, in your message, you tell me everything you know about the bird(s) you want to dropoff, including age, breed and -- if you're dropping off more than one -- if they all get along with one another. Also, let me know what time is best for you to dropoff. I will respond within 2 hours, confirming your scheduled dropoff.

You MUST schedule a dropoff in advance, at which point you will get confirmation of time and the location of the dropoff.

I do NOT eat roosters. I do NOT process roosters. I simply rehome them.

Any questions, please send a PM to my Facebook.com/BlueRibbonChickensMonroe page. But please note, no scheduling will be done until Thursday, October 3 with all dropoffs taking place Friday, October 4.

Chickens For Sale

No, this isn't me in the photo above, but I do love the sentiment. Keep me in mind if I can ever help you with your backyard feathered friends.

Update:

I will continue with the no-contact pickups and dropoffs for the foreseeable future, and the farmyard itself will remain closed to visitors. So feel free to reach out and inquire about safe, no-contact pickups or dropoffs and I'll see you get what you need.
