Next Cinnamon Queens Available Soon!
My next group of young hens -- beautiful 4-1/2 month old Cinnamon Queen pullets -- will be ready for new homes in late-February or early-March. There is no better brown egg layer, and no sweeter breed. They are ideal for families of all ages. Young and old folks alike love them!
These sweet young hens, when fed a quality 20% protein layer feed, will be 4-6 weeks away from giving you their first eggs. Once they mature, they'll give you a big brown egg everyday. Rarely will they miss a day.
These remain $20 apiece. If you'd like to prepay, and guarantee your hens, please send me a PM to Facebook.com/BlueRibbonChickensMonroe for all the details.
If you prefer to pay cash at pickup, please wait until you see a post here where the exact pickup date will be announced. No hens are guaranteed until payment is received. Until the pickup date is announced, the only list I maintain is for those that have prepaid.
Two-hen minimum, as always.
Thank you!
Next Rooster Dropoff Days January 9-10!
My first ROOSTER DROPOFF DAYS of 2026 will be Friday and Saturday, January 9 and 10 here in Monroe.
As always, I'll gladly rehome any healthy feathered friends you may have. The most important word there being 'healthy.' Please don't bring me any sick birds. They will be turned away. The minimum age is 4 months. No Silkies or bantams this time.
I ask a $3 cash donation per bird to help offset my feed costs.
I do NOT eat roosters. I do NOT process roosters. I simply rehome them.
All dropoffs will be scheduled dropoffs. If you have unwanted feathered friends you need to rehome, drop a message to Facebook.com/BlueRibbonChickensMonroe please beginning Wednesday, and I'm happy to schedule a dropoff day/time that'll work best for you.

No, this isn't me in the photo above, but I do love the sentiment. Keep me in mind if I can ever help you with your backyard feathered friends.
Update:
I will continue with the no-contact pickups and dropoffs for the foreseeable future, and the farmyard itself will remain closed to visitors. So feel free to reach out and inquire about safe, no-contact pickups or dropoffs and I'll see you get what you need.
